Prayer and Liturgy
We celebrate the Feast of the Ascension on 18th May. On this feast, we remember the day when Jesus left his disciples in Galilee to join God the Father in heaven. This event took place forty days after Easter Sunday and is celebrated by Christians around the world, because it is the day Jesus made a place for us in heaven.
You might to try some of these activities at home.
As May is the special month of Mary, we gathered together to honour Our Lady. The children all made flowers and took part in a May procession to lay them at her feet as part of our devotion to the Blessed Virgin.
