Music Curriculum
At Faber Catholic Primary School, we want every child to be happy and enthusiastic learners of Music, and to be eager to achieve their very best in order to fulfil their God-given talents. We firmly believe that the recipe for success is high quality first-wave teaching in Music, which is central to the life of our happy, caring school.
Our Music Room

This has been possible because of the hard work and dedication of staff and the kind donations made by family and friends of the Faber School.
There is a special mention to Mrs Otter for the very kind piano donation.
Mrs Otter was both a Music Teacher and Head Teacher in her younger years. Owing to her grand old age of 99 she has now gone into a home and has donated her much loved piano to our school. Elsie has had the piano since she was 8 years old. It was bought for her by her parents in 1928 and her mother often did without in order to pay for Elsie's piano lessons.
Elsie is now entertaining her fellow residents and sharing her talent and gift with others in the same way that we hope our pupils will do for one another through the piano she first learnt to play on.
The Charanga Music Scheme
We use the Charanga scheme to teach our Music curriculum.
