Miss Goodstadt's First Term at The Faber
We would like to officially welcome Miss Ellen Goodstadt to her new position as Head of School at The Faber. Miss Goodstadt has taught in several primary schools with the Painsley MAC over the past 17 years.
" I am thrilled to now be the Head of School at The Faber Catholic Primary School. I have had such a warm welcome into The Faber family and have really enjoyed getting to know everyone in my new role. I am deeply committed to continuing to develop the Catholic mission of our school as we live out our new Mission Statement: With Christ by our side, we support one another to become the people God wants us to be. We grow in faith together as one Faber family of God."
One of Miss Goodstadt's highlights of her first term has been getting out and about on school visits. Class 4 travelled to Sudbury Hall to support their learning in history where they learned about what life was like in a Victorian classroom. They dressed up as Victorian children and were taught by some very strict teachers. Class 1 have also been out on a trip to the Mitchell Arts Centre in Hanley to see Santa Saves Christmas. The children had a lovely time and came back very satisfied having met Santa and received a present!
